Hi John,Saw a link to your site on the canon forum. Your work is great! and similar to what I enjoy sontoihg. I was wondering ifI might get a bit of advice on a lens from you. I have worked up through the Canon Digitals and just got a 40D last week.I have been sontoihg with a Sigma 50-500 for many years, but am currently debating on jumping to one of the Canon L series lenses with IS. Considering either the 28-300 or the 100-400. The article referenced was one about teleconverters.I was thinking to maybe get the 28-300 and use a converter when needed. I have read that the Kenko does not report back so that the AF would still work. Or I have heard about taping the pins.Any advice would certainly be appreciated. Thanks,Teak
